HCS, Uttam Nagar, celebrated the unity in diversity of our nation and to maintain and strengthen the fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people of our country. We organised a Music activity, at level 1-8, wherein a Group Song was taught to the students . The song was an amalgamation of the language Hindi.

Keeping in mind the glorious 75 years of independence of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava’ has been initiated by the Government of India. Celebrating this Mahotsav, children of the pre-primary wing of Holy Convent School, Uttam Nagar, were made aware of the freedom fighters who took part in the freedom struggle through Story Telling Sessions and Puppetry.  The students’ enthusiasm was also reflected in the singing sessions remembering great leaders like  Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel etc. The day concluded with the children echoing the slogan ‘Jai Hind Jai Bharat.
